Customer had a manual process for heat sinking inserts into plastic parts. Plastic parts were manually loaded into nests and inserts were manually loaded and pressed.
MVB designed and built a custom flexible ultra-sonic insert machine which the operator could simply load the nest with plastic parts. The machine could be changed over to process inserts on a new part as fast as loading a new nest held in by segan locks. The machine recognizes the RFID tag and associated programming for a specific part which reduced production change over time resulting in greater production output.
